In 2025, ExxonMobil Pipeline Company expanded its first responder training program to provide hands-on pipeline emergency response training in Louisiana and Mississippi, in addition to continuing to sponsor the HazMat Liquid & CO2 Pipeline and Industrial Fire Emergencies trainings at TEEX. First responders from departments across the Gulf Coast and beyond participated.
In Mississippi, we partnered with the Mississippi State Fire Academy to develop and sponsor a course specializing in emergency response to CO2 incidents. The first class was held in September with a second class in November. In Louisiana, we worked with the Louisiana Fire & Emergency Training Academy and River Parishes Community College to develop a similar course on emergency response to CO2 incidents. The first class was held in October. Finally, in Texas, in addition to holding the four sessions at TEEX, we sponsored a special TEEX training in Beaumont, Texas, at the IRFT Training Center for emergency responders in the local area.
