Supporting-Our-Communities

The health and wellness of Harris County is of utmost importance. ExxonMobil Pipeline Company is constantly working to bring aid to the communities we serve, especially during this difficult time. We’re also partnering with local businesses and organizations while supporting the local economy. We remain focused on the safety of our people and our neighbors and continue to take precautionary measures to ensure our communities stay safe and prosperous.

Donations by the Gallon

Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, ExxonMobil Pipeline Company has consistently provided the communities of Harris County with hand sanitizer donations. These donations were made possible due to our operations in Baton Rouge quickly transitioning to produce mass quantities of hand sanitizer, fuel, and medical safety equipment such as masks and face shields.

The Collaboration

An ExxonMobil team of experts in chemicals, materials science and manufacturing is offering their experience to help a collaborative effort organized by the Global Center for Medical Innovation. Fifty thousand face shields have been produced, and production facilities are ramping up to manufacture upwards of 170,000 more per hour in the coming days. The collaboration has also produced models for a new, reusable face mask design that will address the shortage of N95 protective masks.
